WINTER PHOTOGRAPHY

Winter photography can be absolutely brutal. It is likely the most uncomfortable approach to nature and landscape photography. But if you can brave the elements there is breathtaking beauty all around that simply is not available any other time. It is “the most wonderful time of the year”.

Welcome to my landscape and nature photography gallery full of ice and snow. Winter is very likely my favourite season to capture photographs. Simplicity is something that landscape photographers look for in scenery, and winter is when nature does her best to provide a simple, but beautiful blank canvas for our winter photography. I hope that the following winter photographs inspire you to pursue photography in the cold, winter months. Every thumbnail is clickable and opens to a full-page view of the photo. I hope you enjoy.
