A nature photograph of two trees surrounded by deep snow in Saskatchewan

Mini-Me – 2018

A huge snowstorm hit Saskatchewan at the end of the 2018 winter, giving us some great photographic opportunities. With work taking me to the west-central part of the province, I made sure to take my camera with me in case I had the opportunity to grab a photograph of the pristine winter conditions. Even though windchills this evening were in the -30 Celcius realm, it was worth hitting the backroads and finding these two trees on the side of a small hill. I enjoyed the bigger/smaller version of the tree and it just so happened that fresh snowmobile tracks wound their way directly towards them, giving me some great leading lines in an otherwise snow-covered photo.
