Although Mother Nature conspired against this workshop, Scott did a wonderful job of compensating. We learned a ton about storm chasing and night sky photography. Scott got us to some wonderful locations to shoot. Even with the forest fire smoke, we cam away with some great images. I hope to take another workshop with Scott in the near future.

I participated in Scott’s Grasslands NP workshop. Scott brought together concepts and techniques in a way that was both fun and effective. We covered a lot including composition, focus stacking, camera technique, and post processing. Working with Luminosity masks was new to me and was both challenging and rewarding. Scott’s course was excellent overall and I would recommend taking it for anyone who is interested in improving their photography. I was very pleased with how the course ran both in the field and in the classroom. Scott is excellent at communicating his ideas, techniques and approaches.

I took a night photography course with Scott in June of 2018 at the Great Sand Hills near Leader, Saskatchewan. I had never done night photography before and I found that Scott’s knowledge base to be amazing. Not only did he help me with composition and the technical aspect of night photography but his knowledge of the area and where we could go to get the best shots was fantastic. Scott’s easy going manner and simple teaching style made it easy for me to grasp all of the concepts and techniques and made it fun to learn. The post production help that Scott provides is also awesome. I would highly recommend taking a Photography course from Scott, not only will you have a great time, but you will come out of the course being a better photographer.

Scott’s workshops are a must! He is incredibly knowledgeable and makes the learning experience fun. Scott made sure he got a significant amount of one on one time with each person attending the workshop throughout our time there to make sure we were understanding everything. I will definitely be attending more of his workshops in the future!

I attended a night photography workshop, led by Scott, which focused on shooting the Milky Way. Scott shared his extensive knowledge of photography and the night sky through his presentation to all attending. When the “book work” was completed we headed out to our location to photograph the night sky! Scott took time with each of us and patiently answered any questions we had. I would definitely attend another workshop with Scott and recommend him to others. Scott is a passionate photographer which shows in his amazing photos. He is willing to share his knowledge, to all levels, to help develop photography skills.

In July 2018, I attended a night photography workshop with Scott Aspinall. I found Scott to be very professional, knowledgeable and a good instructor. Prior to heading out for the evening shoot, Scott spent about three hours covering photography basics, composition and what the group needed to know for the evening milky way shoot. I would absolutely recommend Scott’s workshops.

I attended a workshop offered by Scott last summer. As a novice photographer, I worried that I would be out of place, but Scott was attentive and directed his help perfectly suited to my level.
